Amazon Prime Day: Get up to $275 off M3 MacBook Air models
So the M3 MacBook Air features Apple’s powerful M3 chip, offering excellent performance and energy efficiency. The machine got great reviews for its performance boost when it came out in early March 2024. It boasts a spacious Liquid Retina displays — 15 inches or 13 inches — with vibrant colors and sharp text. The laptop maintains the Air’s signature thin and light design. It includes a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, a large Force Touch trackpad and a 1080p FaceTime HD camera. The machine supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast connectivity.
And the svelte laptop also features a six-speaker sound system with force-cancelling woofers, delivering immersive spatial audio and support for Dolby Atmos. This audio setup provides rich, full-bodied sound that’s impressive for such a thin device.

And as for the M3 chip goes, it’s built on a 3-nanometer process. That allows for improved performance and energy efficiency compared to its predecessors. The chip integrates an 8-core CPU (with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), up to a 10-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. The configuration enables the laptop to handle demanding tasks like 4K video editing, complex 3D rendering and machine learning. The chip also includes hardware-accelerated ray tracing for improved graphics performance in compatible applications.
The M3’s unified memory architecture allows for faster data access and more efficient multitasking. It supports up to 24GB of unified memory shared between the CPU and GPU for optimal performance. And the laptop supports the use of two external monitors.
