You can now buy refurbished M2 iPad Pro and M1 iPad Air from Apple’s online store in the US. They are available with up to 20% discounts on their retail price.
Apple unveiled these iPads in 2022, with the M1 iPad Air launching in March 2022 and the M2 iPad Pro in October.

A new M1 iPad Air costs $549. Considering that it packs a powerful M1 chip, this is great value for money. But you can save even more by going the refurbished route. Apple’s refurbished store lists the 2022 iPad Air for as low as $469, which is $80 less than its retail price. If you need more storage, get the 256GB variant for $549. That’s $100 off its MSRP.
Apple lists refurbished M2 iPad Pro units with bigger discounts. The 11-inch variant with 128GB storage is available for $639, down $160 from its $799 MSRP. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro with M2 chip (128GB) is available for $889, $210 less than its MSRP.
The Cupertino company is currently not selling cellular variants of the M1 iPad Air and M2 iPad Pro through its Certified Refurbished store. Check the store regularly if a particular storage and color combination is not in stock. Apple updates the stock at least twice a week.
